Dear Gentlepersons:

On behalf of my sisters, Martha Ann and Noreen, and myself, I would like to thank your entire staff on the manner that they treated our mother, Charlotte Piech, during her years at The Bristal.

The kindness and respect that was showed our mother, made her stay at The Bristal, a very happy time. It was a tough time for her, losing her husband and moving from her home in Florida in a short period of time. But your entire staff, from the cleaning person to the front staff, treated like family. At the same time, you gave us the comfort, knowing that mom was in good hands.

When there was the blackout in August, a number of years ago, your staff looked over mom and protected her during that hard time. Visiting her shortly thereafter, she told me that she felt no fear, as your staff came up with food and kept clicking on her until the power was restored. Even though, I thought we made the right choice with The Bristal, after that day, I knew there was no better place as she was with "family”.

We greatly appreciate everything you and your staff did, to make mom comfortable but at the same time protected.

As a Supervising Administrative Law Judge for the Slate of New York and member of the Elder Law Section of the New York Stale Bar Association, 1 would highly recommend The Bristal as a place a person could put a loved one and feel secure that they will not only be safe, but loved.

Very truly yours,

Kenneth S. Piech
