During Team Member Appreciation Week, The Bristal at York Avenue took time to recognize the people behind The Bristal Experience and celebrate the team that helps make each day special for residents and guests.
As Amy Silva-Magalhaes, Chief Operating Officer of The Bristal, shared, “Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment are the driving force behind our success.” She also emphasized the importance of the relationships built along the way: “This week is not just about acknowledging your efforts, but also about celebrating the bonds we’ve formed, the milestones we’ve achieved together, and the challenges we’ve overcome as a unified team.”
A Week of Creativity, Connection, and Fun
Throughout the week, team members enjoyed a variety of opportunities to relax, recharge and spend time together. Yoga sessions, creative workshops, shared meals, and special treats offered moments to step away from the daily routine, while a mid-week BBQ, featuring carnival games, a photo booth, and a dessert contest brought plenty of energy and fun.
This week also gave team members a chance to showcase talents that might not always have a place in the workday. During “The Bristal’s Got Talent,” colleagues took the stage for performances featuring singing, dancing, instrumental music, and more.
Lifestyle Director Terrence brought another element of fun to the celebration by teaching team members a dance routine, while games of Jenga and even card tricks from a visiting magician added to the festive feel.
