We had a beautiful afternoon as we celebrated our first Veterans Day here in West Babylon. After a moment of silence at 11:11, we held a Veterans Day luncheon in the private dining room. Following lunch, we sang patriotic tunes and honored the men and women who served our country with a dedication service. Each veteran received a red rose and a pin that was made by The Bristal Helping Hands during our jewelry club. As the day came to an end, we enjoyed delicious red, white and blue cupcakes and some chicken soup for the Veteran’s soul!
