Learning About Pointillism in Westbury

In support of this month’s Bristal Better U theme of Art in Our World, Westbury residents learned about  Pointillism, a Neo-Impressionistic art technique made popular by artist Georges Seurat in the 1880’s.  By separating basic paint colors into small dots, from a distance, the eye will put the dots together to form a color and a shape. After we learned all about Pointillism, residents experimented with this technique and were quite happy with the fun results!
