East Northport Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Bristal at East Northport went pink for breast cancer awareness this month. Residents and staff showed their support of this worthy cause by wearing pink, and also by holding a fundraiser in honor of a fellow resident who is battling breast cancer. Handmade pieces of jewelry were created by this resident, and were give to anyone who made a donation to the American Cancer Society. Residents also decorated The Bristal bus and took a community awareness drive through the local neighborhood. Resident Claire McAullife, our Resident Council President who organized the fundraiser, added that “It was a beautiful day of people coming together. It makes you feel good to help lift another person’s spirit.”
