My name is Ronnie Meyer and my dad is Leon Yablon. I have tried to stop in and say hi and welcome several times since your arrival. Unfortunately, it’s usually when there is someone in your office. Just wanted to let you know that my dad appears happy at The Bristal. Since I live in Armonk it is easy for me to stop by after work, which I often do. I hear the residents express their likes and dislikes, though never a dislike from my dad.
They seem to be happy with the nursing staff in general. Everybody loves Mike the maintenance man and the gentleman in charge of the laundry/linen service, though they don’t know his name. My dad is particularly fond of Anthony, the bus driver, and they seem to have formed a special bond. He looks after my dad and keeps many of the residents involved in the in house and out of house activities. He has been a real gem. He was very instrumental in helping with my dad’s adjustment to the Bristal following my mom’s death.
Anyway, I figure that you get more email complaints than emails of praise, so I thought I would drop you a quick line from a happy resident and his thankful family.
