Testimonial from Mary Price

Read Original

Dear Marissa,

I can’t thank you and your staff enough for the valentines program. I say this even if Gary and I were not one of the couples renewing our vows. If was such a memorable affair. Unlike the original, 40 years ago, this time was stress free and more enjoyable, you’ll understand when your date comes around.

You and your staff left nothing to want – the flowers, rings, music, and of course the garters.

I’m sure everyone, even the spectators, had a great time.

Thanks for always organizing such thoughtful events.

Sincerely,
Mary Price

Testimonial from Rose Polis

Posted by: The Bristal

My mom has been in Reflections since Nov. 2015.

Mom has a wonderful room with all the amenities, constant care and supervision, activities, field trips, three meals a day, helping and attentive aides, physical therapy when needed, and access to the whole facility if she is accompanied and supervised by a friend, relative, or aide.

I would highly recommend The Bristal at Massapequa. It is a kind, caring, well organized, clean and modern facility.

Posted by: The Bristal

We’d like to extend thanks to all of The Bristal communities for their recent efforts to raise both funds and awareness for the fight against Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Collectively, The Bristal raised over $10,000 and donated it to various organizations dedicated to the cause! While all of the communities actively participated, our Westbury Team wound up raising the most on their own – over $3,000! Here’s a photo of Colleen Jones, the Director of Reflections, and one of her team members, Al. Colleen led the efforts in Westbury and we’re grateful for their contributions. Announcing Our Holiday Card Contest Winner 2013

Posted by: The Bristal

Creative expression, at any age, is an enjoyable way to spend time, energize the mind, practice dexterity and, quite simply, let the good feelings flow. When we at The Bristal decided to ask our residents to submit their art work to appear on our holiday card this year, our intention was to engage them in helping us create a truly personal visual message. We also wanted everyone, including our instructors and art therapists, to have fun. What we discovered in the process is that there is a remarkable pool of talent … read more
