Recently, Westbury celebrated with a Hawaiian Theme Day. A Hawaiian luncheon was served in the Dining Room that featured: Sweet and Sour Soup, Beef Teriyaki, Pulled Pork, Mahi-Mahi and Hawaiian Chicken. For dessert, coconut cake and fresh tropical fruit were served. The Dining Room was beautifully decorated and all the staff were dressed in Hawaiian shirts. After lunch, every resident was presented with a lei, then The Aloha Dance Troupe came to dance for the residents. They performed authentic hula dances and some Tahitian dance routines too!
