Veronica was born in Panama, Central America. She came to the United States when she was 11 years old and lived in Brooklyn with her family. She attended public school and graduated High School in 1971. Immediately following she attended Hunter College and got a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. When Veronica was 22 she met her husband Lee. They settled in Rosedale, Queens where they raised their three children, twins, Misha and Roxy and son, Sek. Veronica worked for Citibank in the international money transfer department for 24 years. She then got a job with Deutsch Bank and worked there for 6 years for a total of 31 years in the banking industry. The industry downsized so she retired. Her career took a turn and she decided to work for various temporary agencies where she got odd jobs working a couple of months here and there doing different things. Veronica has two grandchildren, Miles and Lyndon, whom she loves very much. She has traveled to different countries such as: The Dominican Republic, Africa and London. She is a shopping guru and can always find a bargain. She also has lady luck on her side when playing the daily numbers. Veronica is so much fun to have around. She has been working in recreation for 6 years and loves her job. She always gets the residents motivated and involved in whatever activity we have going on.
