Westbury’s Halloween 2013 Celebration

Posted by: The Bristal

We had a wonderful Halloween celebration here in Westbury. The residents got the party started with a delicious Autumn Harvest luncheon prepared by Executive Chef Paul.  Then they made their way to the Activity Center for some “tricks and treats” and Witches Brew Punch.  A costume parade was held next and prizes were awarded to the best dressed.  The Bay City Ramblers, a five piece band, began playing after that, and everyone just danced and sang the afternoon away.  We all had a great time!

Second Annual Art Show in North Hills

Posted by: The Bristal

Some of our residents even entered the Holiday Card Contest held by The Bristal – and our very own Myra Lerner won with her winter scene! Here are some photos from the event.

East Meadow – Girl Scout Earns Her Silver Award

Posted by: The Bristal

One of the local Girl Scouts, Chloe, came to see us at The Bristal as a part of her project to earn her Silver Award. Her little sister Emma joined her. Chloe made and presented 23 acrylic paintings that were given away at The Bristal by hosting a free auction. The two sisters also played the piano to accompany the event. Congratulations to Chloe.
